Mike Ward is Team Leader for the Patrol Dept at Mt Hutt Ski Area during the winter months and is a butch builder based in Chch during the summer. Mike has been patrolling for 10 years, starting at Porters until he saw the light and moved to Mt Hutt. Mike and partner Melissa live in New Brighton in summer allowing Mike to indulge his other passion of surfing.

Not the kind of dog you walk up and pat although she looks friendly...On the bright side, Flash has 6 years searching experience and first went operational in 2003. Other favourite pastimes (other than showing teeth) chasing pussycats and stealing tennis and golf balls. She is a one man dog and makes up for her small stature with massive attitude.
