Mark Phillips has worked at the freezing works in Timaru for the past 15 years apart from a short break when he went skiing in Canada. During his off seasons at the works he worked at Fox Peak ski field in various roles (as you do at club fields) including ski patrol, hut custodian and assistant ski field manager.

Tetra is our most experienced search dog with over 10 years experience and she is still quick even in her golden years. She was multi operational for a number of years (area searching/bush wilderness as well as snow) and searches with heaps of drive and enthusiasm.

Tetra spent a lot of her early years living on a farm which gave her good defined boundaries and a rather disturbing attraction to possums and rabbits.

Mark plans to keep Tetra going for another few seasons depending on her fitness and his as he has made the decision to leave the works and be a full time Dad to his baby boy Carter (oh yes and Tetra!)
